I just wanted to mention that, like you, I was, in late 2013, in extremely bad health, physically, mentally, and emotionally. And I had the miserable luck to have in me the understanding of the thought to be indecipherable for 2,500 years philosopher Heraclitus, the first of the Big Greeks, followed by, chronologically, Socrates, Plato and Aristotle. Heady company that he rightly should have taken a place among, but for his book, On Nature being damaged in 369 B.C. Long story short, I got him, because he was me, and my take on him stood up to every critique I could solicit, because, astonishingly, when you’ve got Heraclitus, reading Socrates takes on a whole new level of context and meaning, and many of his famous sayings are then obvious shout–outs to H. Like I said, pretty heady stuff, and here I was, seriously concerned that my life was ending, and all I could think was that I had a responsibility to get it out, somewhere, somehow. So I wrote All Apologies and published it as a (free) iBook. Which, looking at it, is a total mess, incomplete (but good enough) and really nothing like the best I can do. But at the time, it was good enough, and for all of its many flaws, there is nothing in it that is in any way wrong. Here’s the link if you’re curious: http://itunes.apple.com/us/book/id791205600

“ Approach With Serenity Both Joy And Sorrow, If You Are To Attain Wisdom. “

Anyone who can choose to do so, is already on a journey to wisdom.
